Uninstallation of the Microsoft .NET Framework

SYMPTOMS
After uninstalling the Microsoft .NET 1.1 Framework, the ILMS system ceases to function, including the un-install. Also, other programs on the computer may cease to work.

CAUSE
This is caused by the fact that the .NET framework is actually a \"runtime\" for programs written ontop of this framework. For the programs to run, they need this framework to sit between themselves, and the computers operating system (i.e. WindowsXP).

RESOLUTION
The resolution for this problem, is to go to Microsofts website, and download the .NET 1.1 Framework, and re-install it. This will solve all of these problems.
